Each week we pick up our farm basket filled with yummy locally grown things to eat from our neighbors house. This time it was our turn to drive out to Cullipher Farm Market in Pungo to pick up all the baskets. There were some protests along the way but once we were there the kids loved playing in the sand with old wooden kid sized farming tools. They loved the “Fun Barn For Little Farmers” too. Since we usually make trips to the grocery store for our food this was a welcomed change for them especially since they got to choose a honey stick in their favorite color. Shhh… I bought extra for rewards later.
My son stashed some corn from the fun barn in his shirt pocket only to be discovered by me in his crib after nap time. He just smiled when I showed it to him.
Support your local farms. Eat Fresh. Buy Local. Your family will thank you;o)

Enjoying their honey sticks.
Inside the fun barn. Sometimes I want to be small enough again – sometimes…
