Favorite Reads

Every now and then I go though a purge phase where I just want to simplify and then simplify some more.  I started this time with my books.  I donated a few to the library.  Even though I know I’ll never read them again and they’ll probably just sit on a shelf or in a box somewhere, I still like to look at them and remember the story line and my life at that time.  Here are a few of my favorite reads that I still have.  There are a few that I still wish I had in my modest collection like, The Lovely Bones, A Widow for a Year, The Prodigal Summer, The Time Traveler’s Wife (l-o-v-e-d that book – no clue what happened to it) and the Cold Sassy Tree (my dog ate that one – seriously!).  So until I’m ready to simplify again I’ll hang onto these.

My husband and I decided to break out some of our old books that we kept from our childhood to share with our kids.  The book are showing signs of love once again and they are happy ;o)
